Akon (real name: Aliaune Damala Thiam) opted for a preppy look when he posed for the below mug shot in upstate New York in December 2007. The 34-year-old R&B singer was photographed by Town of Fishkill police after he appeared in court to enter a not guilty plea to a misdemeanor charge of endangering the welfare of a child. The arrest stemmed from a June incident at Dutchess Stadium where Akon tossed a 15-year-old fan off the stage after the boy was apparently fingered for throwing something at the performer.

Nicole Richie posed for the below left mug shot on August 23, 2007 after surrendering to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department to begin serving four days in jail for a DUI conviction. The reality TV actress was released after spending 82 minutes in custody. The photo on the right was taken by the sheriff's department in December 2006 after Richie was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Diddy, Puffy, Diddy, Puff Daddy, Puff (real name: Sean Combs) was arrested by the NYPD in December 1999 and charged with possession of a firearm following a shooting at a Manhattan nightclub. Police pulled over Combs, who was fleeing with an entourage that included his then girlfriend Jennifer Lopez, and found a gun under the front seat of his Lincoln.

Inga Marchand, better known as the rapper Foxy Brown, was arrested in February 2007 after she allegedly went nuts at a beauty supply store in Pembroke Pines, Florida. According to police, an employee of Queen Beauty Supply spotted Marchand "utilizing beauty products" in the store's bathroom and told the performer that the shop was closed. The temperamental Marchand allegedly responded by spitting on the worker and throwing hair glue at him. When cops responded to a 911 call, Marchand swatted an officer's hand away and began "swinging her arms and struggling" with the cop, who was "forced to utilize a takedown maneuver to gain control" of the rapper. Marchand was charged with battery and obstruction of justice and was booked into the Broward County lockup, where a sheriff's representative snapped the below mug shot.

Actor Haley Joel Osment was charged with drunk driving and marijuana possession after he crashed his 1996 Saturn station wagon while returning home from a Los Angeles concert in July 2006. The 18-year-old Osment, who starred as the boy who saw dead people in "The Sixth Sense," suffered minor injuries in the accident and was briefly hospitalized. Osment, who posed for a mug shot snapped by an L.A. sheriff's deputy, was released from custody after posting a $15,000 bond.

Vincent Margera, better known as Don Vito on the MTV show "Viva La Bam," was arrested by Colorado cops in August 2006 and charged with two felony counts of sexual assault on a child. According to police, Bam Margera's 50-year-old uncle inappropriately touched two girls (ages 12 and 14) while signing autographs at a mall. Margera, who faces up to two years in prison if convicted of the charges, spent about a week in the Jefferson County Jail (where he posed for the below mug shot) before posting $50,000 bond.
