Bobulous can defeat and eat enemies smaller than himself. To tackle bigger enemies, you must eat to gather "z-energy" to open a vortex and evolve into a bigger form. Every level will assign you a medal(bronze, silver, gold or perfect) depending on your performance which is measured from the time, lives and z-energy you have at the end of the level.
